What is Mitaka Dorm?

​Mitaka Dormitory (The University of Tokyo Mitaka International Student Dormitory) is a dormitory for students attending the Komaba Campus managed by the University of Tokyo. Approximately 300 people, including international students, live there. Most are undergraduate students. It consists of six dormitories and a common building, all of which are single-occupancy rooms. It also has women's floors and an all-gender floor. As of February 2024, the required expenses are 8,850 yen/month + water and utility expenses, and the feature is that housing costs can be kept much lower than if you rent a house and live alone.
