MSC Motorcycle Parking Committee
Article 1 (Motorcycle Parking Permit System) Those who wish to park their motorcycles must notify the Mitaka International Student House office in advance and obtain a parking permit.
Article 2 (Period of Motorcycle Parking Permit) The validity period of a motorcycle parking permit is one year, and those who wish to continue parking their motorcycle the following year must apply annually.
Article 3 (Enforcing Safe Driving) Those who are permitted to park their motorcycles must drive safely, such as by driving as slowly as possible when entering and leaving the dormitory. Students must dismount and push their motorcycles between the East Gate and the designated parking space.
Article 4 (Prohibition of Nuisances) Those who are permitted to park their motorcycles must be mindful of refraining from any behavior that may cause inconvenience to dormitory residents or neighboring residents.
Article 5 (Noise Prevention) No modification of mufflers or other items that may cause noise is permitted. In particular, when entering or leaving the facility late at night, if special consideration is required, everyone should take precautions such as turning off the engine and manually pushing their vehicle in and out of the facility.
Article 6 (Observance of parking areas) Motorcycles must be parked in designated parking spaces.
Article 7 (Person in charge of managing motorcycle parking) A motorcycle parking committee will be established within MSC, with a representative appointed. The representative will be responsible for dealing with any issues that arise, such as complaints from dormitory residents.
Article 8 (Handling of illegally parked bicycles) If a motorcycle is parked without a parking permit, the dormitory office will be notified and the motorcycle parking committee will post a notice and issue a warning. If instructions are not followed, the motorcycle parking committee will take responsibility and deal with the situation.
Article 9 (Prohibition of Abandoning Vehicles) When a bicycle parking resident moves out of the dormitory, they must take responsibility for removing their motorcycle. It is prohibited to leave a motorcycle in the dormitory even after moving out. The Motorcycle Parking Committee is responsible for handling abandoned motorcycles and contacting the owner to have them removed.
